PI42935: DATABASE UPDATE ACTIVITY REPORT WITH PROGRAM OPTION MAY REPORT AN INCORRECT DDNAME

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Database Update Activity report with PROGRAM option may
  report an incorrect DDname.
  In DBUA report processing, if the first activity seen for a
  Database/Program combination is a x'21' Database Close record,
  then there is no current entry in the report index for that
  Database/Program combination. Instead of adding an entry with
  the correct key combination, the entry immediately preceeding
  may be used, thereby causing a valid existing DDname to be
  overwritten.

Problem conclusion

• In DBUA report processing, if the first activity seen for a
  Database/Program combination is an X'21' Database Close
  record, then there is no current entry in the report index
  for that Database/Program ombination. Instead of adding an
  entry with the correct key combination, the entry
  immediately preceeding may be may be hereby causing a valid
  existing DDname to be overwritten.
