• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' panel ADB2Z2Z issues a
  message "Must be alphabetic" for the SMSDCFL parameter and the
  assemble issues message *** ASMA254I *** MNOTE *** 555+
  12,LBACKOUT MUST   BE 'AUTO', , 'LIGHT', 'LIGHTAUTO', 'NO', OR
  'YES' 01-DSN6SYSP.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When choosing the 'Display Parameters   *
  *                      / Generate DSNZPARM source' option      *
  *                      on panel ADB2Z2Z 'System Parameters':   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      1- Error message: 'ADB458 Must be       *
  *                      alphabetic' for 10.2 and 'ADB458 Value  *
  *                      must contain only alphanumeric          *
  *                      characters. Authorization ids must      *
  *                      start with an alphabetic character' on  *
  *                      11.1 is displayed on panel ADB2ZZMN     *
  *                      'System Parameters' section for the     *
  *                      DSNZPARM's SMSDCLF and SMSDCIX.         *

  *                      2- The following error is displayed     *
  *                      during the assemble and linkedit        *
  *                      of the DSNZPARM module as seen below:   *

  DSNZPARM module values SMSDCFL and SMSDCIX are DFSMS data class
  names which can contain alphabetic characters and numbers.
  'LIGHT' and 'LIGHTAUTO' are new valid values for LBACKOUT which
  should be supported.
