Error description

• The administrative console can slow down if there are a lot of
  profiletemplates that need to be processed.
  
  This can also impact performance when displaying resources

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When many datasources are created in    *
  *                      a server sometimes there might be       *
  *                      some delay while retrieving a           *
  *                      datasource.                             *
  ****************************************************************

  This performance hit was because the JDBC provider templates
  are retrieved for every request. Now with this fix, the
  templates are cached and stored thereby improving the
  performance.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been modified to store and cache the JDBC provider
  templates thereby reducing the time taken in retrieving the
  JDBC resource.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.9  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
  for delivery information:
