PI41726: ABEND DURING CREATING OFFLINE DEDB IC AFTER CREATING ONLINE DEDBIC

Error description

• When HPIC tries to create image copy of OFFLINE DEDB after
  creating image copy of ONLINE DEDB, HPIC issues unnecessary
  FREEMAIN and terminated with ABEND 3812(FREEMAIN FAIL) as a
  result.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  IMS HP Image Copy terminates with one of the following abnormal
  end when TOIAUTO=Y is requested in the batch image copy process
  and the Image Copy function processes an offline database after
  an online database.
  - ABEND S878 ( ABEND878 ) at FABDAI20 +X'4BC'.
  - ABEND U3812 ( ABENDU3812 ) at FABDAI20 + X'1072' and message
    FABJ3812E ( MSGFABJ3812E ).
  The cause of this problem is that IMS HP Image Copy issues
  FREEMAIN macro to the buffer which has been already freed.
  
  IMS HP Image Copy obtains the buffer for building IMS command
  for stopping online DB, AREA and PART of HALDB by GETMAIN macro
  when TOIAUTO=Y is requested in batch image copy process. The
  buffer is freed by FREEMAIN macro after IMS command build
  process is completed. The buffer is not obtained if database is
  offline. Even though IMS HP Image Copy tries to release the
  buffer at offline database process, because the address of
  buffer area for previous online database process is still in the
  control block. As the result, IMS HP Image Copy issues FREEMAIN
  macro to non-existing area and gets ABEND.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABDAI20 has been modified to clear the address of GETMAINed
  area of IMS command build for avoiding unnecessary FREEMAIN
  macro process of offline database.
