Error description

  • Bad display when using Sysplex Summary and Menu (ISZASYSP)
on a SHARE=YES user.
This happen after installation of UI23540.
The error is caused by incorrect tests added in PTF ISZ00770.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Additional active sessions displayed    *
*                      against a user in the Sysplex Summary   *
*                      and Menu facility. The user is defined  *
*                      as SHARE YES, meaning that multiple     *
*                      users can use the same userid.  These   *
*                      users have an additional qualifier so   *
*                      that individual users with the same     *
*                      userid can be recognised and selected.  *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *

Additional active sessions displayed against a user in
the Sysplex Summary and the Menu facility.  The user
is defined as SHARE YES, meaning that multiple users
can use the same userid.

Problem conclusion

  • The Sysplex Summary and Menu facility is displaying all active
sessions for all users with the same userid (SHARE YES) rather
than justactive sessions for a specific userid and their unique
qualifier.  The code has been amended to recognise and list
only active sessions for the specific userid and their unique
qualifier.
