PI41536: IF A SUBSCRIPTION RUNS LONG ENOUGH, THE COUNT OF CHANGES IN THE MESSAGES CHC0129I AND CHC0130I CAN OVERFLOW AND BECOME NEGATIVE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CDC is using a 32-bit signed integer to count changes sent from
  source to target.  The maximum value for such an integer is
  2147483647.
  If a subscription runs long enough to send more than this number
  of changes, the counter overflow will become negative.

Problem conclusion

• The maximum value of the row change count has been increased
  to the limit for an 64 bit unsigned fixed point binary field.
