APAR status

Error description

  • Create a new hybrid application and add a Windows 8 environment.
    Write code to connect to the server.
    Open the server console and set the app to 'Access Disabled' and
    provide an upgrade URL
    Open the app on a Windows 8 device.
    When the connection to the server occurs,the access denied
    message is shown.
    Click on the upgrade button.
    
    Expected result - App should open the browser with the URL
    provided in the console.
    Actual result - Browser does not open. Visual Studio shows an
    error message
    
    APPHOST9624: The app can?t use script to load the
    http://google.com/ url because the url launches another app.
    Only direct user interaction can launch another app.

Problem conclusion

  • This is fixed,Now upgrade URL can be opened even when the app is
    disabled.
