PI40665: DB2 ADMINISTRATION TOOL FOR Z/OS CATALOG COPY FUNCTION DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR LOAD REPLACE TO BE USED DURING LOAD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS Catalog Copy function
  does not provide for LOAD REPLACE to be used during LOAD
  

Local fix

• 1) Use DSLIST HLQ.**.CTLC to locate the modified load control
  statements data sets
  2) edit each data set and change "RESUME YES" no "RESUME NO
  REPLACE YES" on the LOAD statement
  3) restart the unload/convert/load job in the first LOAD step

  The UNLOAD/LOAD method in the Catalog Copy function generates
  the RESUME YES option during the LOAD phase by mistake.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved to generate the LOAD REPLACE
  option when using the Catalog Copy function.
