Problem conclusion
The IMS PA batch processor expects all Dates to be in the default Sorting format (i.e. YYYY/MM/DD), the dialog allows for a Preferred Date Format other than Sorting of either US or European During JCL creation for an IMS Connect Report any From/To dates specified in the Report Set should be re- formatted if either the US or European Date Formats have been selected. The specified Date Format was not being checked, and all dates assumed to be in the default Sorting format resulting in an invalid date being passed to the batch processor and receiving the IPI0424E error. This change ensures that the specified Date Format is checked and dates are converted to the Sorting format as required by the batch processor.
