PI40445: WMQ Z/OS: CHANGE CSQOREXX PANELS TO USE NON-PERSISTENT MESSAGES FOR SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• APAR PI31166 changed the behaviour of CSQUTIL so that the
  messages generated are non-persistent.
  
  This change should also be made for CSQOREXX panels.

  *                      commands are issued by MQ ISPF panels   *
  *                      (CSQOREXX).                             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When the SYSTEM.QSG.TRANSMIT.QUEUE is defined in a CF structure
  with CFLEVEL(3) or higher and the attribute RECOVER(NO) is
  specified then IGQ is not selected to transmit persistent
  command messages to other members of the QSG.
  
  The MQ ISPF panels (CSQOREXX) put command messages to
  SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT queue with persistence in MQMD set as
  MQPER_PERSISTENCE_AS_Q_DEF.
  
  If QSG queue managers are also members of a cluster, the
  SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE is evaluated as candidate
  XMITQ to send the command messages then the command
  messages take the persistence from this queue which has
  attribute DEFPSIST(YES).
  

Problem conclusion

• MQ ISPF panels (CSQOREXX) has been changed to MQPUT command
  messages to SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT with persistence set in
  MQMD as MQPER_NOT_PERSISTENT.
