    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the channel initiator is restarted *
    * by ARM, the ENVPARM or MSTR parameters *
    *                      are not used.                           *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    During channel initiator startup CSQXARMY registers the channel
    initiator with ARM, and specifies the START CHINIT command in
    the STARTTXT parameter. If the channel initiator was originally
    started with the ENVPARM or MSTR parameter, this is not passed
    to ARM, and consequently is not specified when ARM restarts the
    channel initiator.

Problem conclusion

  • Channel initiator startup processing is changed to save the
    value of the ENVPARM or MSTR parameter and pass this to ARM, so
    that the parameter is specified again when ARM restarts the
    channel initiator.
