APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It is possible to get an ABEND S0C4 in CKZ00221 +3036 in the
DB2UPDATE command when processing the BACKUP SYSTEM records in
the BSDS. An ABEND SA03 is also possible after the ABEND S0C4.

Local fix

  • Possible work around would be to run a BACKUP SYSTEM on the
source DB2 source that corresponds with the target BSDS being
processed by DB2UPDATE.
