* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IMS High Performance Image Copy         *
*                      terminates with  ABEND U3933            *
*                      ( ABENDU3933 ) due to FREEMAIN error    *
*                      SYS CODE = 40A-08, when TOIAUTO=Y is    *
*                      requested.                              *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

IMS High Performance Image Copy terminates with ABEND U3933
( ABENDU3933 ) due to FREEMAIN error SYS CODE = 40A-08 when
TOIAUTO=Y is requested. Because IMS HP Image Copy uses FREEMAIN
R,LV= with register zero for specific subpool that is not
allowed.

IMS HP Image Copy changed FREEMAIN instruction as FREEMAIN
RC,LV= with non-zero register.

Problem conclusion

  • FABDAI00 and FABDAI20 have been modified to use a correct
FREEMAIN instruction format.
