  • ABEND0C4 in BTSDBS00 when using PRF and BTS.  PRF does not
propogate the BTS main control block BTSCOMM address.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PRF causes an S0C4 abend in IMS Batch   *
*                      Terminal Simulator module BTSPC000      *
*                      because PRF does not propagate the BTS  *
*                      ECB used by BTS when it attaches the    *
*                      IMS Region Controller DFSRRC00.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF that corrects this APAR.       *
****************************************************************
PRF now saves the BTS ECB on entry to IRTUPX00, the PRF hook
in the IMS Region Controller. PRF passes the ECB to the BTS
application BTSPC000 when it is attached to by IRTRCC00.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The abend S0C4 no longer occurs because BTSPC000 receives the
correct ECB address.
