Error description

• An ALTER of a LOB COLUMN result in a DROP - RECREATE when using
  CHANGE MANAGEMENT, should just be an ALTER.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
  *                 z/OS who use the Change Management ( CM )    *
  *                 function to import an ALTER statement to     *
  *                 change the length of a LOB column.           *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CM function imports an ALTER        *
  *                      statement to change the length of a     *
  *                      LOB column without an INLINE LENGTH     *
  *                      clause.  Upon analyzing the change,     *
  *                      the result is a drop and recreate of    *
  *                      the table, DB2 Admin does not use an    *
  *                      ALTER statement to make the change      *
  *                      to the table.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The CM function imports an ALTER statement to change the length
  of a LOB column without an INLINE LENGTH clause.  Upon
  analyzing the change, the result is a drop and recreate of the
  table, DB2 Admin does not use an ALTER statement to make the
  change to the table.
