Error description

• SQLCODE909 from DSNXRRC from  FETCH when parallelism
  is enabled .
  

Local fix

• Disable parallelism or  bind with degree(1) .
  

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: DB2 10 and DB2 11 for z/OS users who use     *
  *                 I/O parallelism and WITH HOLD cursors        *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When I/O parallelism is active, and a   *
  *                      WITH HOLD cursor is opened and fetched  *
  *                      from, followed by a COMMIT, then an     *
  *                      SQLCODE909 may occur on a subsequent    *
  *                      fetch on the cursor.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  SQLCODE909 is returned because the cursor was closed
  incorrectly.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been fixed so that a cursor declared WITH HOLD will not
  be closed after COMMIT.
