    * If either condition is detected then *
    * mirroring status will be set NOK, *
    * HyperSwap will be disabled, and an SDF *

This PTF adds function to protect a GDPS/PPRC or GDPS/PPRC
HyperSwap Manager system from inadvertent use of Multi-Target
PPRC function. Only a GDPS/MTMM system is capable of manag-ing
Multi-Target PPRC. In other GDPS environments, the presence of
multiple relations on primary devices, or enablement of the
MTPPRC option in DEVSUPnn, will have unpredictable results.

This PTF adds a coexistence check in GDPS/PPRC, GDPS/PPRC
Hyperswap Manager and GDPS/XRC system which verifies that only
1 GDPS flavour is active within the Sysplex and that all GDPS
instances are operating at n and n-1 levels.

    DOCUMENTATION CHANGES

The following update will be reflected in a future revision of
the GDPS/PPRC Messages and Codes (ZG24-1756)

    GEO220E DEVSUP PPRCMT IS ENABLED

Explanation: DEVSUP PPRCMT is ENABLED. The ENABLE and
DISABLE is specified in PARMLIB member DEVSUPnn
The PPRCMT is only to be ENABLED in a GDPS/MTMM
environment, that is the only Multi Target
                 capable GDPS Solution.
Hyperswap will be DISABLED and all UCBs
unprepared, the mirroring status will be set
NOK and an error flag will be set preventing
Hyperswap from being re-enabled. This message
is written to SDF. It is automatically deleted
                 when PPRCMT is disabled

Action: DISABLE PPRCMT with MVS command SET DEVSUP=nn
where nn is the trailing characters for member
                 DEVSUPnn in PARMLIB containing DISABLE(PPRCMT)
                 Run a Monitor2 on a controlling system.
This will reset the error flag and allow
                 HyperSwap capability to be restored.

Destination: Syslog, SDF alert - red

    Source: GDPS/PPRC, GDPS/HM

    GEO221E <count> PRIMARY DEVICE(S) WITH MULTIPLE RELATION-SHIPS
            DETECTED

Explanation: GDPS monitoring has detected that at least one
PPRC primary device has multiple relationships
established. This type of configuration is only
                 supported in a GDPS/MTMM environment.
Hyperswap will be DISABLED and all UCBs
unprepared, the mirroring status will be set NOK
and an error flag will be set preventing
                 Hyperswap from being re-enabled.

Action: Delete the unsupported PPRC relationships and run
Monitor-2. This will reset the error flag and
allow HyperSwap capability to be restored.

Destination: Syslog, SDF alert - red
