APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• Different versions of IE use different default versions for
  compatibility mode. In IE11, the default is IE7, which causes
  most of the uBuild UI to break in some way
  

Local fix

• Keep Developer Tools open in IE11 and select IE8 or higher for
  the Document Mode

Problem conclusion

• IBM uBuild 5.0.1.6 and IBM UrbanCode Build 6.1.0.2 both contain
  a fix that forces IE to always use the latest available version
  when in compatibility mode
