Error description
Customer has developed iOS application on Worklight 6.0.0.2 level with 64 bit I-Fix applied. The splash screen of customer application turns into black for about one or two seconds during the web resources decompression. This black screen comes when run on a 64 bit iOS device. Customer has confirmed that they haven't observed this issue before the 64 bit I-Fix applied. And also customer experienced the flicker on iOS8 and iOS7 (iPhone 4S and 6, 6+). We had very similar case which was addressed APAR: PI33075 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PI33075 But this is only for 6.1 level.

Problem conclusion
a fix is made for iPhones and will deliver to the costumer (who don't use IPads ) an IPAD fix needs to be found
