• On z/OS, a message flow that calls a DB2 stored procedure with a
  parameter of data type BIGINT might fail with the following
  error:
  
  BIP2322E DATABASE ERROR: SQL STATE '22003';
  NATIVE ERROR CODE '-99999';
  ERROR TEXT '{DB2 FOR OS/390}{ODBC DRIVER} SQLSTATE=22003
  ERRLOC=2:70:2'

  All users of WebSphere Message Broker V8.0 and IBM Integration
  Bus V9.0 on z/OS using DB2 stored procedures via ODBC.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  On z/OS, a message flow that calls a DB2 stored procedure over
  an ODBC connection with a
  parameter of data type BIGINT might fail with the following
  error:
  
  BIP2322E DATABASE ERROR: SQL STATE '22003';
  NATIVE ERROR CODE '-99999';
  ERROR TEXT '{DB2 FOR OS/390}{ODBC DRIVER} SQLSTATE=22003
  ERRLOC=2:70:2'
  
  This is due to the product binding the value to the BIGINT
  parameter using the wrong C Data type.
  
  There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
  Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details

Problem conclusion

• The product on z/OS now binds BIGINT parameters using the
  correct C data type.
