  overflow of internal buffer for message, when HP Image Copy

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR fixes following problems:     *
  *                      1.IMS HP Image Copy terminates with     *
  *                        ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) when the      *
  *                        number of output lines for each DBDS  *
  *                        or area data set on DFSPRINT DD       *
  *                        exceeds 20.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      2.IMS HP Image Copy encounters          *
  *                        unexpected system abend, such as      *
  *                        ABEND S130 ( ABEND130 ), ABEND S138   *
  *                        ( ABEND138 ) or ABEND S0C6            *
  *                        ( ABEND0C6 ).                         *
  *                        The problem occurs under following    *
  *                        conditions:                           *
  *                        - The COPY process of Advanced Image  *
  *                          Copy function is used               *
  *                          ( FASTIC=(opt,COPY) ).              *
  *                        - DSSSTATS DD and DFSPRINT DD are     *
  *                          supplied.                           *
  *                        - One of the following conditions are *
  *                          satisfied:                          *
  *                          - Secondary image copy data set is  *
  *                            requested.                        *
  *                          - HASH Check option is requested.   *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR fixes following problems:
  1.IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) when
    the number of output lines for each DBDS or area data set on
    DFSPRINT DD exceeds 20.
    IMS HP Image Copy contains 20 number of output lines buffer
    area for DFSPRINT DD. If the number of output lines exceeds
    20, IMS HP Image Copy terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 )
    due to storage overrun.
  
  2.IMS HP Image Copy encounters  unexpected system abend, such as
    ABEND S130 ( ABEND130 ), ABEND S138 ( ABEND138 ) or ABEND S0C6
    ( ABEND0C6 ).
    The problem occurs under following conditions:
    - The COPY process of Advanced Image Copy function is used
      ( FASTIC=(opt,COPY) ).
    - DSSSTATS DD and DFSPRINT DD are supplied.
    - One of the following conditions are satisfied:
      - Secondary image copy data set is requested.
      - HASH Check option is requested.
    The cause of this problem is that IMS HP Image Copy does not
    serialize the reporting process for DSSSTATS DD and DFSPRINT
    DD.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJCP40, FABJMSGP, FABJCP4S and FABJMSGS have been modified to
  extend the buffer for DFSPRINT DD as needed.
  
  FABJOFL1 has been modified to serialize reporting process for
  DSSSTATS DD and DFSPRINT DD using ENQ/DEQ macro.
