Error description

  • When LIU DBD Map Viewer (FABXGMAP) is scheduled from IBM
Management Console more than one time, the message, ICH408I RACF
validation errors on temporary data sets, occurs in a DAI SOT
    address space STC.
After the RACF validation errors, ABEND 0C4 or 913 occurs.
This problem happens at the second running of DBD Map Viewer in
    the DAI SOT address space.

    ****************************************************************
The root cause of the problems is LIU FABXGMAP does not delete
    the temporary data sets.

When IBM Tools Base DAI managing an IMS Tools product task in
the SOT address space, DAI removes RACF environment before
    terminating the task.
Therefore, the IMS Tools product task should delete the
temporary resources before it terminates and allocate new
temporary resources at the second run in the SOT.

However, when FABXGMAP runs in the SOT address space, it
allocates some temporary data sets dynamically which are
FABNSYSI, FABNSYSO, SYSPRINT and FABNSYSP but does not delete
them. After that, when FABXGMAP runs at the second time in the
SOT address space, FABXGMAP attempts to delete the temporary
data sets previously allocated. However, the user ID is not
authorized to access the former temporary data sets, because the
previous RACF environment has been removed. As the result, the
first ICH408I error occurs. The subsequent 0C4 abend is caused
by accessing the data set failed. Another ICH408I error and
ABEND913 occur because the temporary data sets has not been
deleted at the end of first FABXGMAP run, too.
