PI31905: INCORRECT COMBINATION OF COLLECTION ID AND PACKAGE NAME WRITTEN TO THE SMF RECORDS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Incorrect records are written to SMF with a combination of
  collection ID and package name.
  For an example, the following combination shows up in the SMF
  record, but they don't exist in the system:
    COLLECTION ID: DSNJDBC
    PACKAGE NAME:  LSSPG
  This happens to be happening to SQLJ applications.

  DB2 creates a list of packages for which it has searched,
  Package names are added to this list whether they are found
  or not found.  When searching for a package, this list is
  searched first.  The package accounting record is updated
  when a package name is located on this list.  However, this
  accounting record is created before checking to see
  if the package was of the 'found' or 'not found' variety.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code is changed to determine if the package exists
  prior to updating the accounting record.
