• The mechanism to send push notification via APNS relies on a
  third party library which may throw exceptions like
  ApnsConnectio I com.notnoop.apns.

  while  waiting for error code
  java.net.SocketException: Socket is
  closed
    at com.ibm.jsse2.SSLSocketImpl.j(SSLSocketImpl.java:778)
