  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A 0C4 abend may occur in CSQVCRTH       *
  *                      during memory termination processing    *
  *                      for an application address space        *
  *                      connected to the same queue manager as  *
  *                      another application address space that  *
  *                      is going through the memory termination *
  *                      processing, if the processing takes a   *
  *                      long time or hangs while holding a      *
  *                      resource ENQ.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When application address spaces go through memory termination,
  the processing gains the SYSZCSQ3 CSQYALLI ENQ. If while this
  ENQ is held, the processing hangs memory termination processing
  for other address spaces will wait for this ENQ. If wait is over
  4 minutes in length, the processing will itself be cancelled
  automatically. This results in the recovery routine for memory
  termination processing being entered, which will attempt to gain
  the ENQ again. As this has been previously requested for the
  same TCB, the ENQ call returns RC 14. This is incorrectly
  handled in this case, and processing continues as if the ENQ is
  held, when it is not. This can result in 0C4 abends in CSQVCRTH
  during the later recovery processing.
  

Problem conclusion

• The recovery routine for memory termination processing in this
  case has been updated to correctly handle the return code 14
  from the request for the ENQ, and to subsequently wait for the
  ENQ to be available.
