  • When a trace file is specified in the CICS TG configuration file
    and another override option is specified on the ctgstart
    command the tracing output is written to stderr.

  • It is not possible to mix trace options from the CICS TG
    configuration file, and trace options specified on the ctgstart
    command. All the required options should be specified either in
    the CICS TG configuration file or on the ctgstart command.
    
    This APAR is being closed USE because CICS TG is behaving as
    expected. Further work to standardise CICS TG tracing options
    and the related documentation has been completed in APAR
    PI31330.
