APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The unload utility stops and issues the following message if no
  MODELDCB is provided if a GDG/GDS allocation is requested via a
  TEMPLATE statement.
  
    INZI340E MISSING MODELDCB OR DATACLAS IN DEFINITON OF
             TEMPLATE=template
  
  As the MODELDCB is not actually mandatory, this restriction
  should be removed.

Local fix

• Set the value of TMPLDSCB (VUX033) with the name of an existing
  sequential dataset.
  
  This will not have any impact on the actual DCB used for the HPU
  output data set allocated via the TEMPLATE statement.
  
  You can update the value of TMPLDSCB (VUX033) via the
  IBM Tools Customizer "LPAR Parameters" panel CCQPLPR.
  
  Scroll down to the heading "DB2 HPU File Management Parameters".
  You should see fields like the following.

  BTW: Our GDG model dataset is GDGMODEL in above example.
  
  After updating and saving the VUX033/TMPLDSCB value in Tools
  Customizer GENERATE the HPU customization jobs and resubmit
  them.
  
  Your HPU v4.2 jobs specifying +1 GDG in templates should run
  successfully.
