PI26873: SDC2 ABEND WHEN SAVE POINTS ARE PRESENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A SDC2 (SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=DC2) abend may occur within
  module ALASUBG if save points are present in the log records.
  This occurs during an IARV64 FREE operation with return code
  x'0040' (invalid address requested). The abend may be sporadic
  as it depends on values in other unrelated areas of storage.
