Error description

• Administrative console shows unknown status for the webservices
  "service provider" status for all "edition managed"
  applications

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When there are edition managed          *
  *                      applications installed and JAX-WS web   *
  *                      services contained in the               *
  *                      application, unknown status is shown    *
  *                      for the web services.                   *

  During web service configuration metadata initialization, the
  application name stored in metadata does not got updated to the
  editioned name.
  

Problem conclusion

• We now update the application name in the web service
  configuration when edition management is enabled.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
