PI26016: EXPLORE INCORRECT RESULTS FOR ABRARCHIVED: ENHANCED BYTEA AND BYTEU REPORTING

APAR status

Error description

• EXPLORE incorrectly reports some data sets as ABRARCHIVED,
  even though they are not archived at all. This applies to
  selection by CRITERIA, or in report output. Also, EXPLORE will
  now use the existing INI option to identify archive volume
  serials, instead of assuming MIGRAT. If the INI options are
  not specified, EXPLORE will default to MIGRAT and ARCIVE.
  This will also enhance selection and reporting of archived
  data sets using the MIGSTATUS keyword.

  EXPLORE reports bytes allocated and bytes used for
  multi-volume data sets in total on each record in an extract
  file. This fix adds a new INI option to allow the byte values
  to be reported for individual volumes.

  EXPLORE had an undocumented limit of 10 million tracks
  for a data set. This has been increased to 2 billion.
