APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When you upgrade Worklight Studio, rebuild the project WAR and
  .wlapp, and deploy those files to the server, the existing
  clients that use authenticity stop working.
  

Local fix

• 1. Import a copy of the Worklight project to Worklight Studio
  V6.2 and rename the project. The project is automatically
  upgraded to V6.2.
  2. Deploy the new WAR file and applications to the server in
  addition to the existing old WAR file version.
  3. Distribute the new applications.
  4. Block the old applications

Problem conclusion

• For project WARs built with versions V6.2.0.x and later, apps
  and adapters that were built with any version 5.0.6.x and above
  (not later than the project WAR version itself)  can be
  deployed.
  In order to keep supporting the old applications, they should be
  deployed alongside the new applications.
  1.Import old project to the new version Worklight studio,
  application upgrade will be done automatically.
  2.Increment the upgraded applications versions.
  3.Deploy the new War file built with the new studio to the
  server.
  4.Deploy the new applications to the server alongside the old
  Worklight version built applications.
  5.Both applications work as expected. If you want to use the
  only the new ones, block the old ones and refer to the new ones
  for upgrade.
