Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' install process does not
document the need for the SADBLLIB library's inclusion in the
STEPLIB in the Work Load Manager (WLM)-managed stored procedure
address space for the use by Control Center for OS/390 (CC/390).

    ****************************************************************
The Reverse Engineering job template member ADBREST has been
    updated with the following instructions:

    Instructions:
To use Reverse Engineering from additional software products,
such as Control Center for OS/390 (CC/390), submit this sample
job to create the Reverse Engineering stored procedure ADB2RE,
the required temporary tables, and BIND PACKAGE for the stored
procedure on the DB2 subsystem that will use this facility.

You then need to copy load module members ADB2RE and ADB2LM
from the SADBLLIB load library to one of the libraries
defined as STEPLIB in the Work Load Manager (WLM)-managed
stored procedure address space. The ADB2RE stored procedure
dynamically allocates output data sets, as specified by the
CC/390 user. This requires the stored procedure to be defined
with SECURITY USER. Procedures with this security parameter
cannot run in the non-WLM-managed stored procedure address
space (ssidSPAS), but must run in a WLM-managed stored
    procedure address space.
