APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While in an FTP session, if a CD or LCD is issued to go to the
    current directory, the CWD being displayed is not correct.
    Here is an example:
    
    lcd /dir1
     EZA2581I HFS directory /dir1 is the current working
    directory.
     EZA1460I Command:
    lcd .
     EZA2581I HFS directory /dir1/. is the current working
    directory.
     EZA1460I Command:
    lcd .
     EZA2581I HFS directory /dir1/./. is the current working
    directory.
     EZA1460I Command:
    lcd .
     EZA2581I HFS directory /dir1/././. is the current working
    directory.
    

Local fix

  • Ignore the message.  The CWD is correct.  Only the message being
    displayed is incorrect.

    When the current working directory is a z/OS unix file
    and a dot is used by itself with LCD or CD subcommand
    (for example, "LCD ."), FTP adds "/." to the current
    working directory.

Problem conclusion

  • EZAFTPCD and EZAFTPRD have been changed to handle "LCD ."
    and "CD ." as a special case and remain in the current working
    directory.
