**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All FP Solution Pack Version 1 Release 3 * * users who use HPFPU with IMS Version 14. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enables HPFPU in FP Solution * * Pack for z/OS Version 1 Release 3 to * * run on IMS Version 14. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** This APAR addresses the following enhancements: 1. HPFPU in FP Solution Pack V1R3 is changed to support IMS Version 14. 2. Online Expert Reorganization (OER) and Online Space Management (OSM) support FP 64-bit buffers for IMS High-Speed DEDB Direct Reorganization utility. 3. Fast Path Online Tools clears the obtained storage before it is used in case the Dirty Getmain trap is enabled. Also, this APAR addresses the following problems: 4. Forward Fit APAR of the FPSP V1R2 APAR PI23537 HPFPU Hash Check support for IMS Database Recovery Facility (DRF) temporarily turned off the top bit of FSE in the CI record buffer, then IMS HP Image Copy output image copy before the top bit of FSE was returned on. When the incorrect image copy that had been generated during 1st DRF run was used as an input for 2nd DRF run, HPFPU Hash Check support issued FABA4011W and FABA4023E messages due to the incorrect top bit of FSE. 5. Forward Fit APAR of the FPSP V1R2 APAR PI24569 Fast Path Advanced Tool (FPA) checked APF auth libraries without converting the volume name when it is defined as a system symbol, it issued HFPM3061E error message.
