PI21184: ALT PANEL FLOW FOR NON-UTS TABLESPACE WHEN INCREASING NUMBER OF PARTITIONS DOES NOT ALLOW CUSTOMER TO ENTER PARTITIONING VALUES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' ALT function does not
  present the customer with the appropriate panel to allow them
  to enter the partitioning values when attempting to increase
  the number of partitions in a non-UTS tablespace.
  

Local fix

• Enter the command 'VALUES' on panel ADB21SAR 'Table Space' so
  that panel ADB21SAV 'Limit Key Values' is display thus allowing
  the partitioning values to be entered.

  When using the ALT function to increase the partition numbers
  for a LARGE table space, the panel ADB21TAV 'Alter Partitioned
  Table' is not displayed for users to input limit keys for the
  added partitions.
