Error description
When trusted clients is enabled, it is not possible to start a Synergy CLI Session from the GUI Client. Prerequisites: 1. Synergy 7.2.1.1 installed. 2. Trusted clients enabled (+ +) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a Synergy Client. As trusted clients are enabled, no username or password is required. 2. Click on Tools ? 'Start Synergy CLI' Expected Results: 1. Command Prompt opens and it is possible to run 'ccm' commands. Actual Results: 1. Command Prompt opens as normal and there is no onscreen indication that the CLI has failed to start. 2. Running the command 'ccm status' shows there is no 'Current Session'. 3. Running any 'ccm' command (for example: ccm query -t task) indicates that a CLI session has not started: Warning: No sessions found. Please run 'ccm start' to start a session. 4. ccm_client.log displays the following output: CRCCK2015E The username or password is not valid Notes: This issue occurs on both Linux and Windows Clients where the Synergy Server is on a Linux Red Hat. Work Around: 1. Manually start a Synergy CLI session.
