PI20576: SWIFT MESSAGE MT102 ORDERING CUSTOMER FIELD DOES NOT OFFER 50F TYPE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the MT102 SWIFT schema in the Message Editor it is
  not possible to select type 50F for the Ordering Customer field.
  Types 50A & 50K are available only.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  
  1. Delete the existing Ordering Customer field.
  2. Right-click on the Common Field Elements node and click Add
  Child > User Defined > String
  3. Name the field "50F"

Problem conclusion

• In Rational Integration Tester 8.6.0.1 it is possible to add the
  50F option as per the specification.
