PI20283: CHANGE MANAGEMENT EXPORT ENDS WITH RC00 DESPITE IBM0421S ONCODE=520 AND IEC032I E37-04

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS' Change Management EXPORT
  function ends with a return code 0 / rc00 when several messages
  within the job output such as IEC032I E37-04, ADB2MSQ: Error
  condition= 520,    CRCH Unhandled Error. Oncode:     1040 Onloc:
  ADBCRCH Online:          1271 and IBM0421S  ONCODE=520  The
  SUBSCRIPTRANGE condition was raised. indicate the export was
  not successful.

  When using the Change Management Batch (CM Batch) Interface
  'Export Changes' to export changes to an existing PDS, a
  Return Code 0 / RC = 0  is observed when the PDS is full
  and an SE37 space Abend is observed.  In addition, the SE37
  error only appears in JESMSGLG and JESYSMSG.  Output from
  Change Management does not indicate any space issues, it
  only reports the ONCODE 1040 / ONCDODE=1040.
  

Problem conclusion

• The program has been corrected to set the return code to a
  value > 0 and issue the following message to indicate it is a
  space issue for the SE37 error:

  1040 - Out of space on the file in the location ADBCRCH
