Error description

• Parallel Job Manager fails on cancel/restart scenario. Job
  log parts fails with an NPE,and servlet already exists.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When canceling and restarting jobs from *
  *                      the Compute Grid job manager console,   *
  *                      some jobs might revert back to          *
  *                      restartable or remain in submitted      *
  *                      state.                                  *

  Compute Grid job manager fails on cancel/restart scenario. The
  Job log parts also fails with
  NullPointerException and servlet already exists.
  These errors occurs because the job cache is not properly
  cleared during restarts.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
