PI19752: HRFCAPJ1 ENDS WITH RC=0 THOUGH THE ASSEMBLY FAILS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There are two issues:
  - HRFCAPJ1 job fails to assemble CICS pauser module because
    SYS1.MODGEN is missing from MACLIB DD.
  - When the assembly fails with RC=08, the HRFCAPJ1 job still
    finishes with RC=00.

  This APAR addresses the following problems:
  - HRFCAPJ1 and HRFCAPJ2 jobs fail to assemble CICS pauser module
    because SYS1.MODGEN is missing from MACLIB DD.
  - When the assembly fails with RC=08, the HRFCAPJ1 job still
    finishes with RC=00.
  - HRFCBPJ2 job fails because member HRFYOF10 is not found
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR fixes the HRFYINST module to propagate the return code
  from assemble or link-edit job step, and it also fixes the
  errors in the sample JCLs.
