APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABN=074-00000000,U=SETUP   -CSQSGSTK,  M=CSQVLFRR
  is occurring when CSQSVSTK has issued a SETLOCK OBTAIN,TYPE=CML
  
  ABEND074 means a program issued the SETLOCK macro and
  supervisor control could not finish processing the macro.
  
  ST REGs and the SYSTRACE show the abend is actually an ABENDAC7
  RSN00440004. Reason 00440004 is because DIAGxx trap
  IEAMISUSEPMC is set to detect the misuse of "Process Must
  Complete". So, if a PAUSE is attempted with PMC set, ABENDAC7
  RSN00440004 is issued. SYSTRACE shows a SCHEDULE from CSQVEUS1
  before the abend SVC D. TCBPMC is no longer set at the time the
  TCB is captured however.

  An ABENDS074 occurs after CSQSVSTK has issued a SETLOCK
  OBTAIN for a CML (Cross Memory Lock) while PMC (Process
  Must Complete) is in effect.
  The lock is currently
  held by another process, so a IEAVPSE (Pause) is issued to
  wait for it to become available. However this is an illegal
  command when PMC is set.
  This causes an Abend AC7-00440004. Since the IEAMISUSEPMC
  diag trap was set at the time of the abend, this produced
  the ABENDS074.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQVEUS1 has been altered to reset the PMC status before
  releasing the latch.
