PI18970: ABENDS0C4 IN CKZ00714 AT OFFSET X'1558' PROCESSING SOURCE IMAGE COPIES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This problem occurs when one or more DB2 objects has one or
  dataset extents. This applies to non partitioned tablespaces and
  indexes with PIECESIZE. During source image copy processing, the
  extent of extents are not found and no control block is built
  for it. This results in the S0C4 in CKZ00714 when called to
  process an open dataset. The code has been changed to find all
  dataset extents and create the missing control block.
  Note no problems exist when not using source image copy, i.e.,
  (PGM(ADRDSSU)) or (PGM(EMCAPI)).
  

Local fix

• Delete the offending space from source job processing in
  LISTDEF.
