APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A job calling a PROC with one QUERY and one FORM ABENDS 0C8.
  Omitting the FORM, the job runs successfully.

Problem summary

  *                      user tried to PRINT a REPORT that       *
  *                      was generated using a user-enhanced     *
  *                      FORM.                                   *

  During QMF REPORT formatting, arrays are used to contain
  information about the REPORT.  Bad code in PRINT REPORT
  processing allowed indexing to occur beyond the end of two
  arrays, where inappropriate values were used in an arithmetic
  calculation, which led to the S0C8.
  

Problem conclusion

• The bad code has been rewritten to ensure indexing cannot
  occur beyond the end of the arrays.
