Error description

• IMS PI uses the IMS DBRC API interface to return information
  used in determining logs required for Extract or Reporting
  purposes, according to the DBRC settings of the IMS Systems
  and/or Groups definitions. The default selection process assumes
  that the Primary SLDS data sets will be used in assessing the
  selection criteria provided. In the case of a Batch IMS system,
  or other where there are no SLDS data sets, an invalid pointer
  is used in processing the selection criteria and results in
  ABEND0C4 ALZBRCA.

Problem conclusion

• In DBRC selection processing if there are no SLDS datasets
  available the default Log information will be used in
  assessing the results. If the results do not match, or there
  is no log information available then the results will be no
  logs selected.
