APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A Teradata database is configured to use an LDAP source for
authentication.  The database is configured as a DQM data
source, and the jdbc connection property "LOGMECH=LDAP" is
defined in the datasource properties. In order to let users sign
in with their own LDAP credentials, no signon is defined.  When
a report is run against this datasource, the user is not
prompted for credentials and an error is thrown:  XQE-DS-0006
Unable to logon to the data source.[Teradata JDBC Driver]
[TeraJDBC 14.10.00.17] [Error 1046] [SQLState HY000]
Authentication Mechanism requires a logdata parameter.
