PI17558: IMS PA CUTS A TRANSACTION INDEX RECORD THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN IMSSTART TIME

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IMS PA may cut a Transaction Index record that does not have an
  IMS Start time. This results in IMS PA reporting transactions
  without a date/or an invalid date of 1973-01-01.
  It may also cause problems with mismatched records in IMS PI if
  the IMS PA Index file is merged with the original IMS logs for
  analysis.

Problem conclusion

• Ensure Transaction Index records have an IMS Start Time, if
  no valid UTC date is available then the timestamp from the
  IMS Processing Token may be used.
