Error description

  • In customer's schema a pre-click hook fires and sets a number or
environment variables used to pre-populate the new request
record. A Post click hook later clears the session variables. In
the clearquest for windows and eclipse client, if you hit cancel
the post click hook runs and clears the session variables.
However in the clearquest web, the post click script does not
appear to fire if the action is canceled and the session values
    remain in memory.
There is an initialization hook for the submit action that
checks to see if those session variables have value, and if they
do, pre-populate the request form. The lingering session
variables in memory after the cancel causes the initialization
hook to incorrectly populate a new request record.
