Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: C/VSE program appending data to         *
  *                      VSAMESDS file terminates with abend     *
  *                      code U4087 RSN07. Protection            *
  *                      exception experienced in routine wp90.  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  Invalid "read-for-update" attempt which then fails. Problem
  during VSAM ESDS file open processing resulted in wrong
  "high-used-rba" value used during write append request.
  

Problem conclusion

• Correct field alignments for VSAM ESDS file processing.
