APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using IBM Rational Team Concert Enterprise Extensions,
  multiple promotions (and reverse promotion) with dynamic
  streaming with multiple threads fails with checksum errors.
  
  Promotion whether regular or reverse writes to the same file
  <tmpDir>/promotionInfo.xml.  Contention for this file can cause
  checksum errors if the xml is changed in the middle of
  publishing the file to the build result.
  
  A unique file name should be used for the local copy.

• Run promotions using dynamic streaming individually.  Do not
  start and stack running promotions.

Problem conclusion

• In RTC 5.0 these configuration files are now generated with
  unique names to prevent collision.
