PI14299: ABEND0C4 AFTER CONSECUTIVE MULTI-SESSION (MS) SIGNON REQUESTS IN THE TSO IUI.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABEND0C4 in DGADICMD + x'2524' after consecutive Multi-Session
  (MS) SIGNON requests in the TSO IUI.
  
  It appears that where this issue was initiated by PM91578
  (Maxdelay enhancement).  However, this initial error caused MS
  to not work at all (i.e. the first attempt to sign on to
  another node would fail with the S0C4).  APAR PM94314 changed it
  somewhat where the first MS attempt would work, but the second
  attempt would fail unless you did the MS command, then swapped
  to the primary node before making the next MS command - it will
  always work (after PM94314) doing it this way.
  

Local fix

• STRRTC - 416865

  Circumvention:
  Do a single multi-session signon, get out of the MS panel and
  swap back to the primary node, then signon to the next MS node.
  
  As long as the MS signon is from the primary node (basically a
  single signon at the time), this will work.
